CFP/SK Girls English Competition

Mate Amela has sponsored the competition of English inter-classes organized by the English Pedagogical Committee of The Vocational Training Center Soumaoro Kante Under the theme: "Between Barriers and Efforts: the Girls of CFP/SK Succeed in Studies "
The Jury was chaired by Bamoussa Diarra followed by Fatoumata Dembeleand Haoua Dembele.
The first three were chosen from among the 8 finalists.
All 8 finalists have received gifts.
Big Thanks to Souleymane Diarra who has monitored the students thanks to his participation in the "Global Citizenship Education 2016" in South Korea on Transformative Pedagogy, Quality Education, Pedagogical Documents Production.

Meeting With Stephen L. Esquith

Amela_mate, in the framework of its quest for Collaborators has had the honor to host the Professor Stephen L. Esquith Dean of RCAH from Michigan State University and Dr. Yoby GUINDO, the first Chairman of Mate Amela within its Headquarter located in Mamadou Konate at 10am.The meeting was fruitful. The two parties are on the point of working together on two major projects: the popularization of "Pictures Books" and "Peace Game" developed by the IEP & MSU.

Saturday, May 12th, 2018 was MATE General Assembly.

I'm delighted to announce you that I've been elected Chairman of Malian Association of Teachers of English (MATE) for 2 years term 2018-2020.This New elected Board will focus on meeting the 21st Century Skills goals and support teachers of English with great Professional Development training sessions.

My Hero Call To Action Multimedia Global Activist Song Circle

Welcome to Global Ativist Song Circle
My high school students participated into a group project with classes from around the world contributing verses to this song about heroes. Teachers and students from USA, Mali, Moldova, Pakistan, Morocco, Togo and Georgia have participated into this amazing project.

My students paid tribute to Soundiata Keita, one of our local KING.
My students dressed up in traditional outfit to show the cultural diversity in Mali.
